Using GPOs, it is sometimes tedious to find the right values for the Blast Extreme protocol.
So I decided to create a Windows utility (freeware) for administrators that allows to adjust the values in real time.
The values best suited to a specific context will save CPU/bandwidth resources and improve the user experience.
This tool can configure the following:
- Codec type
- Blast session bandwidth
- Max frame per second (fps)
- Size of Blast cache
- Audio
- Lossless compression
- UDP protocol
- Encoder CPU Controller
- Quality of H.264, BlastCodec and Adaptive codecs (jpg/png)
- HDR
- High Color Accuracy
- Blast settings export
- DSCP
- Nvidia vGPU license check
- Display driver
- Network stats & Blast stats
For information on codecs, see my article here

Export settings creates a text file with the configured values.
The Reset Blast button resets all Blast values to default.
Transparent mode allows you to make adjustments while a video is playing to obtain more realistic values:

Blast Configurator runs locally in a Horizon session connected with the Omnissa Blast protocol.
For its operation, it is necessary to run it as Administrator.
Tested with Horizon 2412 / Windows 10 / Windows 11
